Kerala Paratha Kerala Paratha Ingredients : (Make about 8 parathas) 2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 2 eggs- beaten 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp oil 2 tbsp milk 3/4 cup lukewarm water (adjust accordingly) More oil for kneading Method: Combine flour, baking powder, beaten eggs, salt, milk, water, and oil in a  large mixing bowl. Mix well with your hands until formed sticky mass. Transfer the dough to the cleaned and oiled working surface. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, and add a little oil whenever feel stickiness, until the dough is smooth and pliable Cover the dough with the oiled cloth and rest it for 30 minutes. Knead the dough again for few minutes and divide it into 8 equal parts. Rest the dough for another 5 minutes. Roll each dough ball out as thin as you can. Chettinad Fish Curry Recipe Ingredients: Fish - 1/2 kg ( I used paarai fish)  Oil - 1 tblspn Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp Onion - 1 small chopped finely Tomato - 1 large cut into long slices Curry Leaves a sprig Coriander Leaves - 2 tblspn finely chopped Tamarind Pulp - 3 tblspn For Sauteing and Grinding: Oil - 1 tblspn Fennel Seeds / Saunf / Sombu - 1 tblspn Onions - 1 large sliced Garlic Paste - 1 tblspn Tomato - 1 large chopped Chilli Powder - 1 tblspn or to taste Coriander Powder - 2 tblspn  Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp Coconut - 1/2 cup grated Method: Heat oil in a earthernware kadai. Story Of  Rahu Katu Long long ago Indra The king of Devtas was ridding on his Elephant . Rishi Durvasa ( a sage) saw Indra and he offered him a  garland.Indra  accepted the garland with a smile and placed it on the trunk of his elephant. The elephant got irritated by the scent of the garland and he threw  it on the ground, seeing this the enraged sage Durvasa Cursed Indra and all Devatas to forget their Divya Shakties( Divya means Devine ans Shakties means Powers). In such a condition the Daanavas ( rivals of Devtas ) attacked the Havens and conquered the whole universe . The helpless Devatas   went to  Lord Vishnu  for help.
